Palm-fringed beaches, fancy hotels and a neat renovated city center with pretty colonial houses - the Colombian city Cartagena on the Caribbean Coast is one of the most beautiful in South America. It's a dream when you are amongst the people who have money. And that's the minority in Cartagena. For all the other people who live in the slums around the city, every day represents a struggle to survive. A nightmare.
